Pre-Trip Inspection Essentials: UWT’s Newest Must-See Video

On Monday, June 2nd, members of the UWT team made the trip down to TC Trans for the Second Driver Appreciation Day. The weather was perfect; several drivers were in attendance to enjoy the delicious breakfast hosted by Paso Del Norte,  and participate in the day’s various topics.

One of the most valuable sessions from the day was the Pre-Trip Inspection Essentials that was performed by TC Trans. It was a great session that highlighted the importance of doing simple inspections every day, both pre-trip and post-trip, as this will allow drivers to find and deal with any issues with the tractor or trailer BEFORE they become major problems.

Pre-Trip Inspection Essentials covered: key areas to inspect on the tractor, key areas to inspect on the trailer, how to fill out an inspection report, and some tricks of the trade.
