The U.S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) issued a notice late Friday, allowing states to permit commercial food trucks to operate and sell food in designated Interstate highway rest areas. As a thank you for your continued efforts during this time, and to support the FHWA’s initiative and your nutrition, if you book a load through the UWT app over the next month, you will get an extra $10!

About Food Trucks:
How can you find food trucks right now? In Arizona – there are 3 rest stops that have been announced so far – one on I-17 and two on I-40. Check out KJZZ’s News Release for more information. There are many other states such as Ohio and Idaho who have been very vocal about where the food trucks are located. But, because the situation is changing so quickly, it is hard to exactly pinpoint where certain food trucks will be in California, Washington and Oregon. If you travel through these areas and get the opportunity to use a food truck, let us know and we’ll pass the word on!
