Our 2015 Customer Satisfaction survey is now underway! This is our 8th annual survey, and as with previous years, we looking for our customers’ participation in order to help us determine what people think about the services provided by UWT.


Why are surveys so important and why do we commit to conducting them each year for both our customers and carriers? Because without them, a company is running with assumptions and guesswork on what is important to their partners. Surveys offer a way for a respondent to give you a first-hand account of the job you are doing, be it good or bad. Surveyors collect the data and develop action plans based on the results, which is one of the key areas of any campaign; it lets your partners know that you both read and share the responses, and plan improvements where appropriate.

This year, our particular research objectives are:

  • To identify preferred service dimensions offered by transportation providers.
  • To collect data on respondent’s characteristics that can be used to create a profile of our current customers, as well as potential customers.
  • To identify an collect data on the current industry market segments and their representation in the survey.
  • To identify and collect data on our customers’ current satisfaction levels and along with their commitment to their current transportation provider relationships.

The survey runs until March 16th, and takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. It was created using SurveyMonkey, and all responses are blinded and confidential.
